Kayaking + Native Storytelling + Star Gazing Event

Join Southwest Expeditions for night kayaking on Caballo Lake followed by a Native American night sky interpretation.

Guests will be fitted out with life jackets, kayaks, and paddles for this evening adventure. The group will paddle out onto the lake with guides and then paddle together for about an hour along the shore before heading back to the base camp for the night-sky interpretation program plus “Vino & Cibo,” (wine & hors D’oeuvres) while a Navajo Native Interpretive guide speaks about Native Archeoastronomy.

Cost to participate starts at $75 (if you bring your own canoe). Single seat kayaks, two-seat kayaks and canoes may also be rented.
